We touched almost every space surrounding the kitchen, including breakfast nook, dining room, powder bathroom, laundry room, and mudroom. Our clients really wanted to brighten the space while adding character and warmth, so we took transitional approach with the design, featuring light beige cabinets deep, warm oak island stain, vertical shiplap, and modern light fixtures. It closed off the kitchen from the living room, had the stovetop in the center of the island, and had limited storage despite the large area.
